His pioneering spirit extended into the aviation industry with the establishment of Aeroknights Aviation and Helicop Aviation. Under his leadership, Helicop Aviation trained India’s first 100 helicopter pilots, revolutionising the nation’s aviation training standards. In yet another industry leap, Tridib founded Deutsche Insurance, launching India’s first dedicated student health insurance portal. This innovative platform addressed a crucial gap, providing tailored health insurance solutions to Indian students studying abroad—a move that underscored his ability to identify unmet needs and deliver impactful solutions.

Pioneering Blockchain and Digital Sovereignty

Long before blockchain became a mainstream topic, Tridib Nandy was already pioneering its potential. An early adopter and advocate of Bitcoin, he recognised the revolutionary power of decentralised technology. His work has positioned him as the world’s first Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) expert and evangelist, playing a crucial role in advancing global conversations on digital currencies.

Tridib’s impact was most notably felt in the Palau-Ripple CBDC Project , where he was instrumental in shaping the Pacific Island nation's approach to digital currency. His involvement in introducing blockchain technology to Pacific governments has further cemented his reputation as a global thought leader in digital finance and innovation.

Currently, Tridib is leading the development of a blockchain-based capital fund for Ganjes.net, an enterprise focused on fostering cannabis-centric startups. In a deeply troubling incident, he was forcibly detained without a warrant by local authorities in Canacona, Goa, under a fabricated case designed to undermine his involvement in high-level projects. His arrest was an attempt to remove him from influential ventures and disrupt his groundbreaking work in digital finance and technology.

Tridib was held in police custody for 14 days—the maximum period allowed by law—where he endured physical and psychological torture aimed at breaking his spirit. The conditions and treatment he faced during this time were a calculated attempt to derail his ambitions and tarnish his reputation.

However, Tridib's resilience was unshakable. Once transferred to judicial custody, the presiding judge swiftly recognised the baseless nature of the charges and acknowledged Tridib's diplomatic immunity. Within three days, he was granted bail, exposing the misconduct of the local authorities and reaffirming his legal protections.

Despite securing his freedom, the damage to Tridib's mental well-being and disruption to his long-term projects had already been inflicted. The experience served as a harsh reminder of the systemic challenges faced by innovators challenging the status quo. Yet, true to his nature, Tridib refused to be defeated.

This adversity only deepened his resolve to drive change and protect individual sovereignty. Rather than retreating, he channelled the pain of this injustice into renewed focus—pushing forward with his mission to build systems that empower people and challenge corrupt structures.

His close relationship with Amir Rabik , the Honorary Consul General of Spain and a well-connected art dealer, exposed him to exclusive circles of influence. Amir’s ventures into Papua to acquire rare antiques for elite clients provided Tridib with a front-row seat to the intricate dance between power, wealth, and history. This experience deepened Tridib's understanding of global systems of influence and the value of cultural capital.

Yet, these years were not without risk. A severe accident at the consulate estate left Tridib with a life-threatening skull injury. His recovery wasn’t just physical—it marked a turning point in how he viewed life, technology, and personal evolution. This near-death experience fueled a transformation, strengthening his resolve to pioneer change in digital finance and sovereignty.
